Kosovo family arrested in tas

A Kosovar family of four has been arrested at their Hobart home.

Brighton Mayor TONY FOSTER says six officers turned up at the home of VESEL and NEXHMIJE
SOPJANI in the northern suburb of Rosetta early this morning.

Mr FOSTER, a friend who's championed their bid to stay in Tasmania, says the was told
to take enough clothes for two days before being taken to the Immigration Department in
Hobart.

The arrest of the SOPJANIS leaves only 19-year-old AKIF LUTFIU unaccounted for in Tasmania.

He's gone into hiding.
